VIT Online MCA

The admission process at VITOL is quite beginner-friendly. Students can enrol in the online courses through an easy-to-follow admission process:

1. Course Selection as per eligibility: Course details are available on the VIT Vellore online website. Candidates can choose courses they are eligible for in the ''Apply Now section. Enter details like your phone number and the email address.
2. Upload Documents: After applying from the 'Apply Now' section, you'll get a reference number. Enter the reference number you got on your registered email and phone number. Use it to proceed to complete the application.
3. Application & Fee Payment: Pay the application fee after finishing the application. Wait for the application selection update from the university side. Your online application process is completed from your end at this point.
4. Application Review & Selection: The admission team will update you about your application status. You will get a selection update on your phone and email.
5. Semester Fee Payment After Selection: Now you need to pay the fee for the first semester. You have different payment options at this point, like debit/credit card, UPI, NEFT, etc. You will receive the LMS and student details via email and phone after paying the first semester fee.

Required Documents

There are a few documents required for online courses here. The applicants must submit these mandatory documents to get admission at the online VIT University:

Multiple fee payment options are offered, such as the semester-wise payment or instalments. The students get various EMI & loan options through the financial partners.

These zero-interest loan options help the students a lot during the course enrolment process. You may need to submit the required documents and details to avail these EMI facilities through the bank partners.

Online VIT provides a set of great learning resources to the students. Students can access all these resources from the official LMS online. The main elements of the Online VIT LMS are given as follows:

• E-library and tutorials: Enrolled candidates can access the live classes and the recordings. They also get access to the digital library containing all the ebooks for their course.
• Web Resources & Lecture Notes: The Moodle-based LMS contains all the journals & resources. The students also get the PDF version of the notes of the lectures for revision.
• Staff-Interaction Option: Students can leave their queries and get answers from the experts. This helps clear the doubts of the students within 48 hours.
• Virtual Labs: The candidates are given the option of virtual labs to test and practice and test the code for the technical courses. It also comes with an in-built advanced code editor.
• Industry-aligned curriculum: The entire course curriculum is designed according to the latest industry requirements. There is no need for the candidates to look for any other skill-based courses after finishing these online courses.

The students must maintain an online attendance of about 75% for the online classes. They get two options to attend the classes for all of the online courses:

At VITOL, the assessments have a unique format. These unique elements cater to all the academic requirements of the candidates. It contains the following three main components:

• Weekly Quiz
• Continuous Assessment Test (CAT)
• Digital Assignment

Online exams are conducted for the remote students, and an online proctoring software is used to ensure the exam integrity at online VIT. It provides the university with automated, standardised, and direct supervision. Each enrolled candidate must score at least 50% marks overall in each course/subject.

The examinations at VIT Online have a set format for the marks and weightage. The course exams and their respective mark allocations are given as follows:

Note: While the internal assessment test is conducted online on the official LMS of VIT Online, the end-term examination is conducted online in the authorised offline VIT exam centres of India. Currently, there are only 20 official exam centres of VIT Vellore online in the country.
