Tamil Nadu Open University or TNOU is an Indian institution for open and distance education set up by the Government of Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2002 through an act passed by the Legislative Assembly, and it started academic activities somewhere between 2003 and 2004. The Tamil Nadu Open University admission process can be completed online by clicking on the “Online Admission” tab, as mentioned on the university website. Here is the step-by-step process with which you can complete your enrollment in any distance program at this university.

Step 1: Register with the university as a “New Applicant.”

Step 2: Keep your ABC and DEB-IDs in hand, as these are mandatory for filling the online Application Form as per the UGC guidelines.
